“Fast Five” Look to End Streak at SYLVANIA 200 presented by Lowe’s

(LOUDON, N.H. – August 16, 2005) -- In nine NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at New Hampshire International Speedway, no driver has ever visited Victory Lane more than once. At the SYLVANIA 200 presented by Lowe’s on Saturday, September 17, five drivers will look to end that streak.

The “fast five” past winners include Ron Hornaday (September, 1996), Dennis Sezter (August, 1999), Jack Sprague (July, 2001), Terry Cook (July, 2002), and Jimmy Spencer (September, 2003).

Setzer is the current leader in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point championship standings and has four wins in 2005.  Hornaday, Sprague, Cook, and Spencer are all in the Top 15 in points in the Truck Series championship standings.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series SYLVANIA 200 presented by Lowe’s is part of a full day of racing on Saturday, September 17 that will include the qualifying by the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series stars for the SYLVANIA 300 and qualifying by NASCAR’s “Tough Trucks.”

Both reserved and general admission tickets for the Saturday, September 17 SYLVANIA 200 presented by Lowe’s featuring the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series are available online at www.nhis.com or by calling Guest Services at (603) 783-4931. Tickets for Saturday’s events will also be available for purchase at the gate on race day.
