ARCA 200 – Daytona International Speedway

February 8, 2008

Gent, Belgium’s Max Dumarey posted the fifth fastest lap in qualifying Saturday afternoon for the ARCA 200 at Daytona International Speedway. This is Dumarey’s second career ARCA start.

On qualifying fifth…

“We’re really pleased with the lap,” said Dumarey. “We had a little head wind on the backstretch, but overall it was a good effort. We tested here earlier this year and had really positive results so this team was confident that we could come back here and be a competitive car.”

Expectations for Saturday’s 200-mile race

“I think we’ll be a top-10 car – maybe even top-five. I guess that really depends on whether or not we find someone to work with us out there. I’m very optimistic though. This team has given me a solid car and now I just have to drive it home.”

ü      Dumarey is driving the #94 BODYCOACH.NET Ford Fusion.

ü      2001 and 2006 NASCAR Camping World Series East Champion Mike Olsen owns Fadden Racing, the team fielding the entry.

Dumarey comes from a European road racing background. He competed in the FIA GT3 Series and most recently became the youngest driver in the world to win the pretigious 24 hours of Zolder
