#97 Joey Polewarczyk Jr. Lee USA Speedway ACT Race Review
(Lee Speedway) - Joey Polewarczyk Jr. of Hudson, N.H. ended up finishing 26th in the New Hampshire Governors Cup, held at Lee Speedway on Sunday, April 17.
Polewarczyk Jr. felt like he had a solid car all day and was consistently fast in practice. After qualifying for the Governor's Cup through the second of two Consolation races, Joey started in 17th position in the 150 lap event .
Joey worked his way up to 8th place before becoming pinned between two cars on lap 46 and ended up with significant suspension damage to the front end of the #97 Pole's Automotive, N.H. Precision, Hedman Hedders Ford Fusion. After close inspection, the damage was too extensive for Polewarczyk Jr. to continue.
"Well we have won the last 4 ACT Races, that is what we will think back too" stated Polewarczyk Jr. "Hopefully this is our bad luck for the season, we will repair the car and look forward to Thunder Road"
The next ACT Race is at Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, VT on May 1, 2011 for the 13th Annual Merchant's Bank 150. Polewarczyk Jr last visit to the Barre, Vermont High-Banked 1/4 mile resulted in a Milk Bowl victory.
