Joey Polewarczyk Jr comes home with a 20th place finish at Canaan Speedway

(Canaan, NH) - Joey had his hands and arms full of race car, when it was all said and done at Canaan Speedway during the Pro All-Star Speedway (PASS) Super Late Model “Firecracker 150”

Polewarczyk started last in the second Heat Race and was up to fourth when an on-track event with the #05 led to Joey being penalized and awarded with the last starting spot on the 22-car grid in the main event.

When asked about his starting position, the 22-year-old, Hudson, NH native Racer simply said, “Not a problem, let’s race”

Joey would go on to say before the race, “The PASS Guys are a great bunch to race with and they really make you earn every inch on the race track, we think we have a great car”

During the main event, Joey lost the power steering on the #97 Poles Automotive, NH Precision Ford. “On lap 20 the power steering went and then on lap 84, the steering broke all-together”

The Polewarczyk Race Team tried to fix the problems during a caution flag on lap 84 but the damage was too much and they had to retire the Ford.

Joey concluded, “It’s a tough break, we had a good car, great power and we look forward to Lee Speedway, we’ll have something for them”

You can catch Joey in PASS SLM action next at Lee Speedway Tuesday, July 12 in the Basstille 200-lap event
